NKEMSTUDIO is an independent fashion label and multidisciplinary art practice founded by Loïc Nkem Vuarnoz.

Through fashion, art, performance and research, NKEM explores the body as a site of transformation - shaped by gender expression, sexuality, Blackness, surveillance, waste, subculture and clothing as a social language.

The work exists at the intersection of instinct and analysis, beauty and discomfort, intimacy and exposure. NKEM challenges fixed categories and treats clothing, material and image as tools to question how we see ourselves - and how we are seen by others.
